“The End of the World as We Know It – Or Not?” That was the title Jones Day gave the legal AI panel at its Client Conference in Frankfurt.
One thing I will keep is Liam Bonamy’s three-arm experiment: the same due diligence run traditionally, AI-assisted, and by AI alone, then compared. My takeaway is a division of labour — let AI find what is buried in the data room, and keep the human instinct for what never made it into the data room at all.

The audience also met Casey and Robin, our agentic approach to legal intake. Casey helps colleagues at the Dr. Wolff Group submit requests that get answers, not follow-up questions. Robin provides first drafts highlighting risk patterns, deviations from standard requirements and relevant case law.
